Lumen-specific props and runtime attributes for the Astro primitive. Use the framework differences above and the copyable examples for React composition and Elements attributes; the public adapter types define their supported contracts.
| Attribute | Values | Default | Description |
|---|---|---|---|
| shape | "rectangle" | "text" | "circle" | "rectangle" | Text lines default to 0.75rem high; circles stay square from one width or height. |
| width, height | number | CSS length | - | Numbers are pixels. Strings accept lengths, percentages, and calc() or var() expressions; heights below the 1rem default are allowed. |
| animation | "shimmer" | "pulse" | "none" | "shimmer" | Pulse fades instead of sweeping; none is static. Reduced motion stops either animation. |
| aria-label, aria-labelledby | string | - | Makes the placeholder accessible and changes the default role to status. |
| aria-hidden | ARIA boolean string | true unless labelled | Overrides whether the loading placeholder is exposed to assistive technology. |
| role | ARIA role | "status" when labelled | Overrides the generated status role. |
| class, className | string | "" | Merges custom classes with the generated ui-* root classes. |
| ...native attributes | HTML attributes | - | Forwards standard attributes to the root element unless the component consumes them. |
